This time, I will introduce the Takao area of Kyoto, which I visited in early November, because it was a wonderful place.
Where is takao?
栂ノ尾=Toganoo, which is the gateway to sightseeing in Takao.
Takao is located in the northwest of Kyoto City. Please note that it is located far from Kinkaku-ji and Kiyomizu-dera, which are popular sightseeing spots.
It takes about 50 minutes from Kyoto Station to Toganoo, the gateway to sightseeing in Takao, by JR West Japan Bus. By the way, the last 15 minutes of the bus shakes a lot. (You can see from the map that the road below the Tsuganoo bus stop is quite winding.)
The place I would like to recommend the most, Saimyoji Temple.

Saimyoji Temple is the place I would like to recommend the most because it made me want to write a blog about Takao this time. Anyway, the autumn leaves were beautiful.

Anyway, the atmosphere and the pictures I could take were the best. If you want to take beautiful pictures, a medium-telephoto lens can cut out the scenery beautifully.

There weren’t many tourists, and I had the impression that there weren’t many overseas visitors.

The atmosphere is more calm than Kiyomizu-dera and Kinkaku-ji, and you can feel Japanese culture and tradition.

The only drawback is that it is a little far from other tourist spots. Even if you deduct that, there is no loss to go.
It is highly recommended for those who want to go beyond the standard sightseeing spots in Kyoto.
I hope that after reading this article, you will be interested in Takao in Kyoto (not in Taiwan) and visit it.
